100 years Merano Kurhaus
For 100 years, the Kurhaus Merano, centrally located between the old town and the river Passer, has been the actual center of Merano.
An exhibition in the Pavillon des Fleurs was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the completion of the new (and last wing) of the Kurhaus.
Exhibits from its long history testified to its transformation from a meeting place for the international aristocracy to a spa, from a war hospital to the center of great events such as the World Chess Championship, the Merano Wine Festival or the Merano Music Weeks, to name but a few.
