Asfaltart 2025
The spa town of Meran comes alive when, from June 6 to 8, 2025, the street art festival Asfaltart transforms the city into a vibrant open-air arena for the 19th time.
The city as a grand open-air stage
For three days Asfaltart turns the city upside down: in the squares of the old town – from Thermenplatz, across Sandplatz to the Passer Promenade – artists and spectators mingle in a vibrant tapestry. Cheerful clowns bring smiles to passersby, and tightrope acrobats perform high above, astonishing even the most hurried businesspeople. Families and children enjoy a blend of interactive activities and awe-inspiring performances – there’s something for everyone to delight in.
Program 2025: Times and Highlight
For three days Meran presents over 200 performances of various kinds. The 2025 program runs in parallel at several central squares – a festival brochure at the info stand or the Asfaltart app helps you not to miss your favorites.
- Friday, June 6, 2025: 4:00 PM–11:00 PM (opening parade at 4:00 PM, followed by performances)

Festival Atmosphere, Family-Friendliness and Culinary Delights
Asfaltart is more than art: the entire old town turns into a joyful street festival. Families stroll from stage to stage with ice cream in hand, children sit enthralled on their parents’ shoulders following clowns or magicians. The atmosphere is carefree and inviting for young and old alike.
For culinary delights, stalls along the Passer Promenade offer regional specialties, street food and gluten-free options. A chill-out area provides seating and opportunities to meet the artists. Artisans present their unique creations – perfect for a heartfelt souvenir. As an official GreenEvent, Asfaltart focuses on waste separation, reusable dishes and digital communication.
