Asfaltart 2026

Entertaining & captivating

The spa town of Meran comes alive when, from June 12 to 14, 2025, the street art festival Asfaltart transforms the city into a vibrant open-air arena for the 19th time.

Clowns, acrobats, dancers, fire-breathers, jugglers, tightrope walkers, and musicians from around the world take over the lanes and squares of the old town for three days. Meran becomes an open-air stage – and admission is free! Visitors can look forward to a weekend full of wonder, laughter, and magical moments.

Festival Atmosphere, Family-Friendliness and Culinary Delights

Asfaltart is more than art: the entire old town turns into a joyful street festival. Families stroll from stage to stage with ice cream in hand, children sit enthralled on their parents’ shoulders following clowns or magicians. The atmosphere is carefree and inviting for young and old alike.

For culinary delights, stalls along the Passer Promenade offer regional specialties, street food and gluten-free options. A chill-out area provides seating and opportunities to meet the artists. Artisans present their unique creations – perfect for a heartfelt souvenir. As an official GreenEvent, Asfaltart focuses on waste separation, reusable dishes and digital communication.
